We are looking for an experienced software engineer to play a crucial role in building and maintaining our backend infrastructure with a focus on writing new and improving existing threat detection algorithms for the detection of zero-day exploits targeting mobile devices, ensuring reliability, performance and scalability both in contained on-premise environments as well as for off-premise solutions using cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement threat detection algorithms and rules for Android and iOS, and keep them current with zero-day exploits used in the wild and with OS-level platform changes while maintaining low false positive rates.
- Play a leading role in software architecture decisions, including system design, service boundaries, data pipelines, and APIs, so that our systems stay reliable and scalable as they grow.

- Deploy new features from development through production, ensuring quality, stability, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with product and security teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and product requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Drive improvements in performance, reliability, and scalability of developed solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with a security-oriented focus.
- Deep experience in programming and software architecture, including designing and building production backend systems.
- Experience with and knowledge of Go, Python and Rust.
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) workflows and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience using IDA Pro and/or other similar reverse engineering tools.
- Previous work in an information security-focused role.
- Previous work at a government agency dealing with compromise detection and/or incident response.
